How long does it usually take for a film released on DVD?
I ask because I recently saw "The Time Traveler's Wife and really liked, the problem is: nobody would take me to see (I am a minor). So I was wondering how long it usually takes movies to come out.
generally 2-3 months, if a great success and is still in theaters more than usual would be four months. but I doubt it would have happened.

DVDs seized at customs Philippines?
When passing through customs control officers thoroughly checked baggage Philippines hand and found 6 DVD (not porn). I was told I had broken international law and the confiscation of them. They were very courteous about it, but took the information from my passport and I did sign the road map. They said they were legal to do in the Philippines but illegal to remove. This surprised me as I took it on DVD before and they said nothing. I bought the DVD in a roadside kiosk is in plain site and permanent … even in shops that sell these DVD's. They are expensive but not expensive in the Philippines and is a free zone. Anyway, said they were pirated DVDs. Well, I have no problems from it. Any advice or light on this?
It's nothing, you should be worried. You just had the worst lucky to have met one of these strict security at the airport. This logbook that you signed is only a tactic used to scare you into buying and not to show the DVD of the Philippines when your next visit. Believe me, if suspected of a felony, which have been carried out. They may have been waiting for a bribe some kind of you. This is how things are in the NAIA airport. They surprised me sometimes with a pirated CD in my Discman, in 2004, took the information my passport too, and nothing happened. The DVD was bought probably been hacked. Yes, even the big stores sell in Manila. There was even a scandal two years ago in the sale of counterfeit products only Prada Prada boutique in the Philippines, which is sold at the original price. Therefore, piracy is everywhere. These DVDs may be like the originals, with original packing and seal, but they are probably more. Only trained eyes can see the difference. Let me give you a advice … If a film on DVD (Film International) costs less than 350 pesos (U $ D 7), is likely to be pirated. If a DVD cost less than 200 Philippine pesos, is pirated. You bring original DVD in Argentina, if not obscene amount. There is no law against the export of privately owned enterprises DVDs. I can travel in and out in the Philippines every year since 2004 and I in the purchase of hundreds of pirated DVDs and CDs it. I just put my hard drive, 700g all mobile shop there, never checks. Never put the discs with me. I burn a recordable DVD when I get home. Do not worry. I am 100% sure that's nothing. And do not let them stop buying the original DVD in the Philippines.
