As the toxin begins to turn to the residents of Ogden Marsh, violent psychopaths Iowa, Sheriff David Dutton (Olyphant) attempts to make sense of the situation while he, his wife (Radha Mitchell), and two bands to all affected residents in a struggle for survival.

REVIEW:
Breck Eisner is one crazy movie without feeling ashamed of what is going gallery focused on fear and gore zombie moments. It is the picturesque small town where things start to go badly, the sheriff who wrings hands of age with each discovery new and terrible, of course, an infinite number of scenes where the characters wander in the dark, and immediately pounced on the soundtrack. It may seem like I'm slagging the film, but I'm not. Locos is a bloody good time and work because of these elements.
Years ago I have not seen the original Romero, but the new movie feels like he lives just down the road this. Ogden Marsh is happy, quiet town in Iowa, one of these agricultural peoples movie where everyone shows little league games like the World Series. One afternoon, Sheriff David Dutton is the town drunk walking around the stadium in the middle of a game … holding a shotgun. MP before it is killed there is no real problem but begins in mystery.
David learns the drunkard had been sober for years and the Coroner's report shows no signs of alcohol. As an epidemic, the most violent events occur throughout the city, apparently without following a path importance. A family is burned alive inside a house while the husband mows the lawn, there is a vast plan sunk in the swamp nearby, and the moments of rural farm life are interrupted by ominous strokes that look as if feeds are broadcast by satellite. The film going at a pace never thank you, and marks a half-hour it takes a sharp turn from horror to action / science fiction-oriented direction.
Following the events I will not elaborate here, Dutton sheriff (Timothy Olyphant) and his faithful assistant (Joe Anderson) are among the burned remains of Ogden Marsh resembles a ghost town, the fight against the mafia of the way from now infected and crazy and a more menacing threat, where they are least prepared to fight. They try to find a pregnant woman David, Judy (Radha Mitchell), who was quarrantined in the city. Back and be a more difficult task facing the band moved from Walter Hill Warriors. The safeguards are not exactly zombies, but they do almost all the same features. Gas masks, high-powered sniper rifles, and trucks laden with imagery evoking a kind of human concentration camp. This medium is filmed in a gritty, a terrifying and there's something amazing about how that Eisner is about destroying the city.
Timothy Olyphant, Radha Mitchell and Joe Anderson to work the central survivors and are a credible link. Olyphant, apparently channeling 1980, when Michael Biehn, and Mitchell had good chemistry together and their husband wife Login / is simple but solid structure on which block crazy our investment. We are going to see the end of this nightmare, but Ogden Marsh has had it.
The violence is graphic, but not depraved or greatly exaggerated. The film moves forward with a restless energy, and he had given time to think about their bodies mutilated. There are all kinds of crazy attack than you might think, but Eisner gives everything a certain enthusiasm and creativity. A scene involving a knife an injured hand, and the front one broke the applause of the audience. My favorite is to see a control coroner wielding a bone saw, as it was Steven Tyler guitar. fools no one takes us seriously, but less political and social burden than the original Romero. It also has a sense of black humor that actually raises a little my eyes. There is unlikely fan of horror this issue and leave disappointed. Fortunately, Eisner was acceptable to the rest of us too.
