Hollywood does not do research at the time of the films in the military?
Now I'm watching The Hills Have Eyes 2 and notice WTF " when one of the soldiers left his gun behind. The "You never forget your weapon is something that is strictly enforced in the army. Another basic mistake was John Travolta, when a colonel wearing a classification specialist. Is it the lack of detail occur only on new films and not decades later films? noooo really? Some errors are minor some are just plain stupid. NurseRee, I agree, I work in a hospital and these programs are simply not realistic. X, I learned that too, but may be minor details, rather large. Mighty Quin, I bet that many of these advisors have a bloody language. Thumbs up for the information.
Hollywood does not have military advisers, which are typically personal retirement, but at the end of the day it comes down to what the director wants, and rightly or not, what you see on the screen is your decision,
