Is this CD purchase overstock.com support artists and buy music in a brick warehouse Motaro better?
I want to encourage authors and artists I love. I have heard that the purchase of books / CDs / DVDs in a library is better for the artist, and purchase at amazon.com is the best (the sale is a good sale), but overstock.com? The book / CD / DVD is another new feature (not used, such as buying on ebay) so I guess some of the money, I will go to the author or artist, but nobody knows if it makes a difference to the artists I can buy at Amazon or Overstock?
In general, if you buy a new book or CD, the artist will receive royalties on sales. Whether you are buying from Amazon.com, Overstock.com, Walmart or elsewhere. Artists receive no royalties on copies of promotion, such as a CD sent to radio stations or books sent to reviewers and other media. And, of course, they do not receive royalties from books and CDs to buy used. Although not I know how it works in the music industry, the authors do not normally receive royalties from greatly reduced you see in stores and online. By this I mean books as you see in the book section at Barnes and Noble business. These are usually the leftovers, which means that the editor had left the books and selling at very low prices (a often cost less to print) only for the store. Bargain books are sold online and offline, and when you buy does not affect how the author concedes.
