DreamWorks Animation How to Train Your Dragon is a sweet film, despite a valiant effort, never rises to the occasion truth. Its biggest shortcoming is its formula "zero to hero" story, where the outcome is a foregone conclusion from the beginning. Beyond simply Clinging to oft-used Joseph Campbell's "Hero's Journey" Paradigm, HTTYD also reverses some of the same ground covered with Disney 1997 animated Hercules and video-to-direct prequel Hercules: Zero to Hero, where the title character is a misfit ungainly, "After accidentally wreak havoc on their own favorite people must be trained to achieve a potential favorite. (The Clash of the next Titans remake also owes a fair deal for Disney's Hercules, the goal I'll get in next week to review for instructions.)
This is a technical level, it would be good to see a CG animated feature film That reality is different. Each animation CG-Today character, whether human or animal, Sami has the body type, facial structure, movements, etc. I probably know studios want consumers to be confused about whether we are seeing a Pixar or DreamWorks film a one (or a knock-off of both), the goal there was a time when animated films showed it apart. He gave the director and give em more – whether it was Disney, Ralph Bakshi, Hanna-Barbera, Warner Bros.., Rankin-Bass – a sense of identity and a distinctive aspect of the brand. Now "all Produced generic objective seems generous. This film is no different.
But what helps elevate How to Train Your Dragon above the glut of other recent animated fare is your message about tolerance and realize that your enemy may not be as different as you think. I am sure that some film students to read too much "in the film and find a golden post-9/11 War on Terror metaphor has to use the argument of a term paper. Objective of the movie really just kids trying to send a positive message (albeit one-handed, a sermon) on the dangers of fear, prejudice and violence. It's really difficult to play a kid's movie tries to do something more than the usual array of fart jokes and musical numbers. I just wish HTTYD had been a little more original and view of the Vikings vs ITS bold intriguing. Dragons allowed.
