In an effort of full disclosure, I saw the trailer for The blind side and had little hope that it might be good. I came to expect a melodrama syrup with a poor black boy rescued by a rich history of the white person. Actually, that's exactly what this film is, but performs at a level where it is not so terrible as might be supposed, or trailers lead one to believe. In fact, it is really very good.
I also say that there is a woman I met who did not look forward to this movie. Any conversation I had with a woman in the films leads to the inevitable question: "What do you think of Blind Side? Even those who scoff at the trailer are always happy to see him. Watching the trailers I had seen exactly the same, obviously, the words speak a language other members the opposite sex. But I am convinced, no matter which side of the gender pool Wade, most people will leave this film properly entertained.
The blind side is Leigh Anne Tuohy, the rich white woman played by Sandra Bullock, who takes refuge in a young black man named Michael other agents (Quinton Aaron). It is based on a story oher real as it becomes part of the Touhy family and then recruited by the NFL. Complications arise, all of which are addressed in this film based on the book by Michael Lewis but not to the extent that it is becoming too melodramatic or even remotely difficult.
The writer, director John Lee Hancock wrote a script that avoids the pitfalls of a typical history of this type, as well as avoiding any real risk. This film is as safe as they come in order to attract to the widest possible audience. I do not complain as much as people wanting to risk-taking rate must look elsewhere, The blind side is as vanilla as they come.
On the positive side, although the plot requires a great melodramatic, as an unfortunate accident or misunderstanding inevitable, Hancock does not stop much every situation allows be solved naturally and without spending much time thinking about the sadness of it all. Instead, the film focuses on the positive aspects and is intended to be more exciting that hope to be emotionally devastating.
Bullock is a remarkable number one and perhaps only because every bite terrible noise used in the trailer is part of a much larger, well-thought of the statement. Bullock Memphis accent grated on me in the trailers seemed that every clip is focused on the accent and everything he did the phrase was said. But at a hearing in connection with the rest of their dialogue was quite natural and understood. She plays the role as well as could be expected.
Oher Aaron plays with a quiet reserve, but that when it finally opened, it is not surprising given that gradually becomes a natural character progression. It is opposed by the young son played by Brian Bullock Hollan, which is much more spiritual than his age actually lead us to believe it could be, but offers NASCAR series to take home.
Da hand has been a pleasant surprise, especially because everything I think might be wrong with the movie ends with some of the most enjoyable. Bullock's performance is more likely that the best I've ever seen, and it makes me wonder why they insist on continuing on this path terrible rom-com, dug for her career when she has the money to produce much more valuable efforts. Tim McGraw and her husband and her daughter Lily Collins also bring something special Touhy family unit to make a perfect movie to see with the holidays Thanks for coming.
