"I can watch DVD movies on my DVD German-American?
Is there anything I can do to see the German DVD with my DVD player America? For some reason, it seems to work. If I had to buy a DVD German and an adapter to make it compatible with American television, that the work, or what I need a German television as well? * I know it can be seen in Gracias Computer Assistance.
Generally no. There are two issues: foreign films are coded to play only on players that are coded for their region. North America is Region 1, Europe is the region 2 – I think there are 6 regions. A small number of DVDs are coded Region 0 which operates in all regions. European films are usually made to play on a PAL TV. United States read the TV signals in NTSC format. You can buy a DVD player that will play www.dvdoverseas.com all DVDs in the region – and that can translate PAL NTSC. They are not cheap for as little as $ 100.
