What is your opinion on the Spanish translations /-dubbing of films for children?
I'm talking about movies that are originally written in English, as the films of Disney. Most of them come from a Spanish track on the DVD. Do you think the normal sound when talk to each other, or just weird? I realize you can not put a lot of "slang" terms, because the jargon is different depending on what country in question (ie.Spain, Mexico, Cuba, Chile, etc.) If someone has to learn Spanish, we recommend using these films as a learning tool? I maybe for some people, the dialogue may seem strange, but perhaps not others. I want to know what other Spanish speakers (especially speakers of origin) has to say about this matter.Thanks.
