Here are the step by step guide on how to copy or backup DVD movies on Mac with Mac DVD backup.
Step 1. DVD Insert
DVD Discs supported: DVD-5 and DVD 9 – DVD-R, DVD + R, DVD-RW, DVD + RW, DVD + R DL, DVD-R DL, DVD-RAM.
After the program started, the program will remind you to insert the DVD.
Insert the DVD you want to copy to DVD drive on your Mac then wait a moment for your Mac to read the disc.
Note: Built-in DVD player as the input source is recommended.
Step 2: Output Selection Method
After inserting the DVD, you can choose to copy your DVD to a blank DVD disc. D9 If you insert the disc and want to compress a disc D5, D9 can select the compression option to D5 to D9 disc to burn a disc D5.
In addition, the backup DVD for Mac lets you copy DVD to hard drive of your Mac in three options:
VIDEO_TS: the DVD folder structure to DVD.
. Dvdmedia: a media file that can be played with DVD player automatically default double-click it.
. ISO: ISO files.
Step 3. The parameters for the printing of the film
After selecting the output method, all DVD titles are populated in the file list. There are three options for copying your DVD movie.
Copies the main movie: Copies the main movie is the title in the mian file list.
Custom drive: You can check the songs you want copied to the file list.
Complete copy: Copy the entire DVD movie.
Note: If there are two main titles are nearly the same duration in the file list, the title mian with a longer duration will be recognized as true as the primary defect. You have to play by hand to determine if this is the main title you want to copy.
Select the option you want to output your DVD, then click Start to begin copying.
If you decide to burn your DVD disc DVD again, then a pop-up after you click Start.
DVD Name: Type a name for your DVD release of DVD.
Save in: Select a DVD player where you want to go DVD.
Location: See if there is a disc in the player DVD you have selected.
Speed: DVD recording speed.
Copies: Select the number of copies you want to record.
Step 4: Start DVD Copy
When the setting is completed, the backup program will start backuping DVD DVD and save data files in the temperate zone. After recording, the program starts the DVD encoding and report to insert a blank DVD disc adapted.
Once the copy is complete, a window to inform you that the copy is complete. Click OK to close the window and at the end of the copy.
Now can enjoy their movies with the DVD drive and keep the other as a collector's edition.
